Attached below is a copy of my general timeline I planned to introduce each value. After assessing students’ prior knowledge and needs I also had to take into account different holidays, PD days and the different values that may fit nicely into a specific month. My goal was to introduce at least 4, hopefully 5 during my 4 months with my Grade ½’s. I needed to create a realistic timeline that gave me the time to introduce the value and give the students time to actually practice this skill. Introducing a new value every 3-4 weeks seemed most manageable and realistic for my students. I have also added my personal timeline and components I had originally planned to complete my PIP while in my PSIII internship.
